Crown Sinnet
A sequence of crown knots that builds a decorative cord for key rings and craft lanyards. Four working strands make a useful practice version.
How to tie the Crown Sinnet
- Secure four working strands together, or cross two cords at their centers.
- Tie and snug a four-strand crown.
- Reverse the direction for the next crown; repeat and secure the finished ends.

Which knot should you choose?
Alternate the direction of successive crowns for a box pattern; repeated turns in one direction produce a spiral.

Finish the loose ends securely. Craft lanyards are not rated lifting or personal-safety attachments.
