Wall Knot
A small stopper formed from the individual strands of a rope. It is also a building block of the Wall and Crown finish.

- Separate the rope end into its component strands.
- Lead each strand under the next, following the lay; bring the last through the first loop.
- Ease the strands together evenly, keeping their exits directed away from the standing rope.

Which knot should you choose?
Compare with the Crown: the wall sends strands away from the standing rope, while the crown turns them back toward it.
